Article Marketing: A Plug And Play 21 Point Checklist For Success!

By: Richard Runion

All article marketers worth their salt post articles to directories daily. A small proportion of them are successful, and an even smaller proportion achieve Search Engine rankings in top positions. Therefore, only a very small percentage articles written and submitted are seen to be immensely successful; some are moderately successful, while most others are doomed to failure for various reasons .

How can we explain the success of the articles of the successful few? Allow me to present my 'ready to use' task list, in my own order of importance. You could be aware of many, if you're already into writing and submitting articles. Having said that, there are surely some listed factors that you are possibly hearing of for the first time.

On each occasion you post any article to article directories, vet your write-up and its submission process with these 21 items, and improve substantially the probability that your article will deliver. This is it:

1. How Powerful Is Your Article Title? Can You Describe It As Controversial/Beneficial/Shocking/Topical/Informative/Calling To Action/Intriguing?

2. Can We Assume High PR's For The Online Directories For Submission ?

3. Is Your Author Bio (Resource Box) Holding Out A Sufficient Promise?

4. Do You Offer Any Incentives To Browse Your Website?

5. Does Your Website Justify The Promise Made In Your Article?

6. Were You Able To Include An Author Bio With Variable Anchor Texts?

7.How Creatively Different Is Your Article's Central Idea?

8. How Many Directories Are You Submitting Your Article To?

9. Will You Send Many Editions Of Your Article To The Many Directories On The Web, Or Mass-Submit Just One Version To All Of Them?

10. Do You Rewrite Many Editions Of The Article, Or Spin Them?

11. Are You In A Sufficiently Popular Niche? What Kind Of Competition Does It Attract?

12. Are Your Articles Sufficiently Well-Crafted?

13. Is Your Article Going Under The Appropriate Category Of The Chosen Directories?

14. Do You Post The Original Article At Your Own Website?

15. Do You Own An Article Directory Relating To Your Niche, With Postings Happening Regularly? Do You Post Your Articles In It?

16. Do You Have An Atrractive Article Summary?

17. Do You Consider Yourself A Popular Writer?

18. How Popular Are Your Articles' Keywords? Is There A Lot Of Competition For Them?

19. How Good Is Your Time Management?

20. How Lucky Are You?

21. After Writin And Submission, Do You Promote Your Article In Any Other Way?

Fortunately, or unfortunately, the most valuable possession is the rarest of commodities: time. Many successful owners of online businesses outsource most of their work; they use their time only for strategic thinking. Most of them get their articles written by others.

Consider it mandatory that your articles appear very frequently in article directories. Ideally, many per day, with a minimum of one, weekly. Given the scarcity of time, try to write articles yourself, while outsourcing their submission. However, if time is too short to have your articles written inhouse, or if you have no interest or skills in writing, it's better to outsource the writing and submission work, alike.

Writing articles is the lifeblood of internet marketing- - the fuel that drives business. Ignore article writing and submission at the cost of your potential profits.

Best luck to you and your article writing!
